Aksel A. Hansen, born on October 5th, 1932, in Jejsing, Denmark, passed away on October 23rd, 2023. A man of remarkable spirit and adventure, Aksel was deeply proud of his Viking heritage, a sentiment that echoed throughout his vibrant life.
As the second eldest of four boys, Aksel grew up surrounded by the love of his family. His two younger brothers, Bendt and Svende, continue to reside in rural Denmark, keeping the bonds of their shared history alive.
Aksel’s journey through life was as diverse as the landscapes he traversed. Beginning with a stint in the Danish Navy during his youth, he later embarked on an international odyssey that took him from Australia to Canada. A lover of sports, Aksel found his passion in running and marathons, a testament to his enduring physical prowess.

An avid ballroom dancer, he gracefully navigated the dance floor, leaving a trail of joyful memories for those who had the pleasure of sharing a dance with him.
