Lannie was one of the first I met in Kandahar in 2007. I had not yet received my luggage and she was kind enough to loan me a few things to get me threw. We laughed, we modelled in our tent....had to be there, we shared. She also looked awesome Ina helmet and flack vest. She was a good woman, she was good to us all, and her work ethic was awesome. She worked for Supply, but was also part of our Lems Dept., and we loved her there. She loved her family first, Vin, Mike and Pat were her world, and she was happiest when they were there all together.Lannie, thank you for everything, I miss you, may you rest in peace.

I will always remember dropping by after a stressful day at work. She would ask if I wanted a beer and Vince, Lannie, sometimes Mike and I would sit at the patio table outside and enjoy each other's company. I always left feeling better after a laugh and a beer...sorry it hadn't happened for a long time...sadly missed that great laugh and time together short as it was
