Al Bruneau was one of the most positive individuals I have ever met. I enjoyed our many conversations in the school hallways, office or parking lot. He always had time say hello...not just in passing...but to take a few minutes to chat how things are going, always with a smile. Al cared....truly a genuine human being. This man was everyone's friend. Even when faced with his illness, Al approached it as he approached all other things in his life....positively. I always had a great deal of respect for Al and was saddened by his passing. it was a privilege to have known him.My deepest condolences to his family on the loss of a wonderful man. God Bless.

I remember Al well from the mid to late 80's as he delivered the mail to St. Avila in Fort Garry School Division. He was always happy and cheerful and became a part of each school staff with his positive personality. 15 years later, I saw him at VW and was amazed to see him with his still positive, vibrant demeanor. My condolences to the Bruneau family for the loss of such a wonderful man. Cherish your memories.

Al was a very pleasant and happy fellow, with what seemed to be a very positive outlook on life. We met him at Shirley's Dance Studio within the last few years, and immediately developed an appreciation for his smile and friendliness. Pom Pom would come to visit me a few times a year at my office. It was always a pleasure to sit and chat about the olden days in Lac du Bonnet and all the current events happening in our extended family. He was always such a bright and positive person who never let illness keep him down. His visits will surely be missed. The Romeo Bruneau family would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Albert's family. He will be remembered fondly.

Al has taught me so much in the time I knew him. His kindness, his positivity, his friendliness, his ability to remember so many faces and so many names, his stories, his passion to work, his enjoyment of seeing the students in the lunch program, his love for his family; all of this and more has truly left an impact on my life. Al was an amazing man with the kindest heart. I will miss him tremendously. Rest in peace Al. To the love of his life, Heather and to the rest of his family, I am so sorry for your loss, my condolences to you all.

Al walked in to our dance class at Shirley's with a big smile and enthusiasm as he embraced his desire to learn the swing dance. It wasn't long afterward that Al was sporting his leather pants at a fabulous 50's social event. In one dance class he met Heather and his eyes lit up. We all know what happened after that.
