He was born in Poland and came to Canada in 1951. Alfred is survived by his wife Olga of 59 years; son Fred (Leona); daughter Rose (Eric). He will be deeply missed by grandchildren; Diana (Cole), Kristina (Joe), Erica (Kevin), and Michael (Jaime); great-grandchildren; Taylor, Elizabeth, Austin and Samantha; sister; Martha (Karl); brothers; Jerry (Marjorie) and Herman (Martha); as well as nieces; nephews; relatives and many friends in Canada and Germany. He was predeceased by his parents Reinhold and Wanda Dobslaw and great-grandchild Riley. On Thursday, September 26, 2013, Alfred’s Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in St. Peter’s Lutheran Evangelical Church, 65 Walnut Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
