I taught Alicia in middle school, and I will never forget her smile. She was the type of kid who brought joy into any situation. This is her signature that is still on my desk to this day. My thoughts are with your family at this time. She was such a beautiful person.

Dear Alicia, No words will be able to let you know how we feel about you. It feels surreal. I walk out side randomly and look up. Not sure what I will see. Maybe something, anything. Maybe a sign that you are near. Maybe break in the clouds and feel your presence. A star ⭐️ I haven’t seen before that’s sparkles like your laughter. But I can’t see you for the cloud cover. I’m sure you are walking on them with your tiny feet and learning your new home. (probably looking for Dill pickles, if I dare to guess) My biggest hope for you is you are happy and any worries you had here are now no longer. Alicia isn’t gone as she lives in our hearts and always will. Her presence had an impact on our lives as deep as her smile and her beautiful dark eyes . It won’t be the same now that a huge piece of our life has moved on. Alicia will never be forgotten. This I can promise you. When the sun shines , Alicia is the sunshine. We will see you again, Alicia .. until then. Remember we love you 😘 That will never change. Thank you for giving us the time we did have together. Heather Greene Nickel
