ALVIN JOHNSON
Peacefully, after a brief illness, and a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Al on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Grace Hospice, at the age of 73 years.
Remaining to forever cherish Al?s memory are his significant other, Shirley; sons, Roger and Patrick (Jessica); brothers, Ted (Leona), Roger (Gail), Randy (Linda) and Jim (Michelle); as well as sisters, Audrey (Bob), Sandra, Sonia (Chuck) and Karen (John). He was predeceased by his father, Byron; mother, Elsie; and sister Lyla.
Al worked for over 50 years in retail, beginning with the Hudson?s Bay Company, and recently at Arctic Co-op. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and curling.
A memorial service in memory of Al will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at 131 West Gate, Winnipeg, Manitoba. A private Interment will take place at a later date.
