I loved this man. My dad Daniel was his older brother and we speant a lot of time on his farm outside Brandon. Uncle Alvin borrowed me his car to go to work for a bit one time when I was a vehicle short. He was a generous man. I am happy that he knew Jesus. He's now with Neil and my dad in Heaven and that is great. Thomas

My sympathies to Shirley and her family. I want you to know that Al had a great influence on the youth of our church when he was our leader back in the early 60's. He was a great role model, and we all knew he cared about us and our well-being. He was too young to be a "parent figure" to us, but old enough to be respected by us teens. We trusted what he taught and lived by example. Now he receives his crown of righteousness, and his great reward. We will meet again.

Dear Shirley and Family: I know we have not been in touch for a few years, but it was with great surprise that we heard of Al's home going. May the lord bless and sustain you at this time. Joan and Al. We now live in Medicine Hat, AB and heard the news through a friend.

Lynda and I were extremely saddened to hear of Uncle Alvin's passing. We knew of uncle's illness and like most others, hoped he would fully recover. Our sincerest sympathy goes out to Aunt Shirley along with Rick, Brian, Don and their families.
