ANNA MARIA (ANNI) BRANICKIAugust 6, 1929 – October 10,2016On Thanksgiving Day a loving heart stopped beating.
   On Monday, October 10, 2016 Anni passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre with family at her side, at the age of 87 years.   Anni was a loving Mutti to her daughters, Marion and Erika (Paula); beloved Omi to granddaughters, Simone (Ilker) and Danielle (Alex); and Gros Omi to great-granddaughter Leyla. She is also survived by family in Germany and Poland. She was a devoted wife of 62 years to her husband, Marian, who predeceased her in 2012.   Born in Brunssum, Holland, Anni grew up in Marbach, Germany and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1953 with her husband and two small daughters. Anni was a warm, generous woman, loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed her home, cooking, baking, her dogs, her beautiful flower gardens and special times at the cottage at Victoria Beach.   In compliance with Anni’s wishes no formal Funeral Service will be held.   The family wish to acknowledge the wonderful staff on CD-4 who treated Anni with loving and compassionate care for the last five years.
