ANTHONY (TONY) RODNEY BROWN
JULY 29, 1956 – SEPTEMBER 25, 2023

Tony passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness with his friend Denise at his side at St. Boniface Hospital on September 25, 2023. Tony is predeceased by his father Elmer and his brother-in-law Steve Hewitt.

Tony is survived by his mother Ann, sisters Cindy (Jim) and Sandra and daughters Rebecca and Carissa, granddaughters Savannah, Neveah and Calie, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, along with many other extended family and friends.

Tony was born in Ottawa. His family moved to Manitoba in 1959. Tony grew up in the St. James neighborhood and attended Westwood Collegiate. He took chef training at Red River College. Tony was a joker and could make you laugh. He had a kind heart and was happiest surrounded by his family and friends.

Family would like to thank the St. Boniface Hospital for your kind and compassionate care. Also, a special thanks to his good friends Rick and James for their kindness during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. As per Tony’s request, no service will be held.
