ANTONIO (TONY) GIANCOLA On Monday, July 7, 2014 Tony died at the Grace Hospital at the age of 73 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated this morning, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 9:30 a.m in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue. Entombment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Tony was predeceased by his loving mother, Enrigetta (Mucciarone), Nicola, step mother Maria (Guffie) and his brothers Liberato and Guiseppe. Tony leaves to mourn his wife of 43 years, Rita, his sons Orest (Deanna), Giulio (Jessica), brothers Mike (Lucy), Pasquale (Pauline), Salvatore and Luigi Giancola, sisters Rita (Pellegrino) and Dolores, sister-in-law Elda Giancola. Tony was born on March 9, 1941 in Castelpetroso Province of Isernia in Italy. In 1959, Tony immigrated to Canada and was married in 1970, and raised his family in Winnipeg. Tony’s passion in life was his work, along with helping people at any time and most of all his family. He will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever. We would like to thank the staff on the 3rd floor at the Grace Hospital along with his Cardiologist Dr. Sinha.
