ARTHUR GLEN WILLIAMS

It is with great sadness and heartache we announce the peaceful passing of Arthur (Art) Glen Williams. He leaves his wife Deenna, son Ryan (Kennedy) and daughter Megan who were at his side, on July 20, 2023 when he passed. He was 85 years old when he bravely lost his battle with Esophageal Cancer.

Art will be deeply missed by his wife Deenna, his children, Mike, Darrin (Bernice), Ragen (Troy), Ryan (Kennedy), Megan, Mannon (Tommy’s finance), his grandchildren Dillon, Breanne, Noah, Tyler, Olivia, and all his great grandchildren. He also will be missed by his twin brother Gary, brother Bill, sister-in-law Elsie and numerous nephews and nieces.

Art was predeceased by his son Thomas “Tommy”, his parents, William and Viola Williams, and his   brothers, Norman and Thomas.

Art was born September 17, 1937 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Art started at Gages in the stationary book. He worked at many print shops over the years but had a long-lasting career with the City of Winnipeg, retiring after 25 years of service.

Art loved to play golf with his boys Tommy and Ryan and enjoyed going to the horse races with his brother Norm every Sunday. He loved to dance and sing and could be found suntanning in the yard on almost every sunny day! He also loved taking road trips to Skinners which reminded him of his days spent fishing with his brothers and Dad in Lockport when he was a child. Art’s kids and grandkids were his life and loved his dogs dearly. Emme and Chandler will miss all the love and treats he gave.

Special Thank you to the Palliative care nurses.

A PRIVATE FAMILY service will be held at a later date
