ARTHUR GEORGE HARRAP December 13, 1933 – May 30, 2014 It is with deep sadness that we announce that Arthur lost a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. He passed away at the Grace Hospital on Friday, May 30, 2014, at the age 80 years. Arthur is survived by his wife Livia (Libby); children Kathy (Chris), Jeff (Lori), Karen, Steven (Natalie) and Arthur Jr., as well as many grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; sister Betty (Lloyd) and their family. Friends and family may call on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 5335 Portage Avenue, Headingley, MB. Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. also in the church, with Rev. David Bloom, presider. Interment will be held in St. George’s Cemetery, Woodlands, MB. Our family wishes to extend thanks to the first responders and the Grace Hospital staff for their care. As well thank you to Dr. Boris and the staff at the motion clinic, Dr. Rehal and Dr. Grobler for years of support. The love and care coordinators and home care workers for making his stay at home possible. Many thanks to numerous friends for their phone calls and visits. A special thanks to Arthur’s grandson, Stephen for his help, kindness and caring. He made his days and evenings more bearable by listening to his stories and attending to his needs.
