ARTHUR JOSEPH TEED It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our dear brother Arthur, at 54, after losing his battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He left our lives but will be lovingly remembered. Arthur is survived by his siblings, Valrie Gauthier (Rene), Zena Menard (Lou), Brenda Fisher (Ted), George Teed, Joyce Wegner; as well as 16 nieces and nephews. Born in Winnipeg, Arthur moved with his family to Kamloops at the age of five. He moved back to Manitoba after acquiring a degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University. He then went on to a wonderful career with Manitoba Housing of which he enjoyed and made many long lasting friendships. Arthur’s favourite pastimes were hunting, golfing, camping or just walking in the woods with his companion dogs and his many friends. He also loved riding his bike or playing pool. In his younger years he developed a passion for soccer that he played for many years. We will always remember his quick wit, dry sense of humour, and Big Hugs!! A celebration of life will be held. Time and place to be announced at a later date A special mention to Arthur’s friend Brad and family and to friend Patrick who were very loving and supportive through his long journey. We would also like to thank the many relatives and friends who helped and supported him through this difficult time, as well as CancerCare Manitoba and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the wonderful care Arthur received. Donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Arthur’s honour would be appreciated.
