Barbara Florence Reid, 80, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2022, surrounded by family and staff at Deer Lodge Centre. Barbara was born March 23, 1942, in Flin Flon, Manitoba, a town she loved dearly.
In recent decades, Barb was residing at Deer Lodge Centre where she made numerous friends and had a large impact on staff. Barb was very sociable, strong willed, and witty, a presence that won’t soon be forgotten by both family and staff/residents at Deer Lodge Centre.
Barb was predeceased by her mother, Hazel, her father, Douglas, her sister, Ruby, her son, Douglas, her daughter, Caryn, and her granddaughter, Laura. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila, son in-laws, David and Rick, grandchildren, Christopher (Katelyn), Ainslee (Mike), Riley, and Kelsey, and great grandchildren, Richard and Emily.
Thank you to the amazing staff at Deer Lodge Centre for the excellent care provided to Barbara throughout her many years there. Tower 4 staff went above and beyond to ensure Barb was comfortable and happy, especially in her end of life.

Barb will be dearly missed and always remembered.
