BELLA ANDRÉA LATCHMAN
Bella Andréa Latchman, a long-time resident of Winnipeg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Grace Hospital. Left to cherish Bella’s memory are her daughter Sheila and her husband Sylvio; son Henry and his wife Sonia; grandchildren Neil, Jamie and Marisol, Lana and Brock, and Adrien; and her four great grandchildren, Santiago, Alessandra, Amelia, and Gabrielle, all of whom brought great joy to her later years. She is further survived by her sister Louisa (aka Maya); nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel. Born in 1928 in Mauritius, Bella moved to Canada in 1970, where she worked as a nurse’s aide until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, doing needlework, reading her bible, and spending time with friends and family. Bella’s Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard. The Interment will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in St. James Cemetery, 525 Tylehurst Street (across from Polo Park).
