I can hear her laugh - a vivid memory! For someone so impassioned about fighting for justice and righting wrongs, she had such a positive sense of things. Her mother, my Nana Warne, was no-nonsense and determined. You just got things DONE, and Aunt Berenice did exactly that, to the benefit of so many. A rich life, well lived.

Leslie. Our condolences on the passing of your mom. We developed a great friendship when she came for sewing. I enjoyed our visits. I enjoyed sewing for you too. God bless you. Tina Brick

Just read of Aunt Berenice's passing in The Globe. Wonder tribute to a wonderful lady. I have many fond memories of summer at the beach with her making me ham sandwiches and John doing a perfect imitation of Bernice. Thinking of my Winnipeg family today.
