Obituaries

My sincerest condolences to the family, and to the many friends Betty cherished. I have so many childhood memories of "Mr. And Mrs. Upsdell". That's what I always called them, until later in life, of course. Visits to their house in Harewood (I think?) Bob would always take me out to the apple tree to get me a big, juicy apple! Betty always had the Coffee, tea, juice and a plate full of cookies ready at the table. Wonderful memories, for many years, were had. Of course, I got married, moved away to the States, and lost touch, but always made a point to visit when I could. When Betty moved to Saskatchewan, to recieve care closer to her family, my mom, Stella was heartbroken. They continued to keep in touch through video chats, Facebook messages, and phone calls. Thank goodness for technology. It was a blessing to my mom. I'm sad Betty is gone, but I'm also thankful she is no longer suffering and in pain. My prayers, to the family, for strength and may God give you all peace and comfort knowing she is home. My Sincerest sympathies, Liana 🙏❤️🙏
