Bev and I were kindred spirits and spent our time discussing the latest news and especially the latest powerful group she was battling -usually on behalf of someone else. Sals for lunch was our spot - how I will miss seeing her smile and hearing her laugh. We were both English teachers and then resource at which she was brilliant. Now -no more pain for her. In sympathy, Marg Wilson

Ms. Reeves, (Bev), was one of my high school teachers. Her excellent teaching and genuine concern for her students was inspiring. As I journeyed through my own teaching career I often remembered the kind of teacher Ms. Reeves was and aspired to be a teacher like Ms. Reeves. My condolences to

I first got to know Bev several years ago through the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. She always brought a smile to our meetings and was always passionate about speaking out on issues she believed in. She'll be missed...

You were always there. My 1st broken heart. You were there. My 1st baby. You were there. My 1st journey by car across the country with my sons, you were there. Painting my 1st home. You were there. Being our Mother's caregiver after the death of our father. You were there. Waiting with my family to see if my husband would survive after a serious illness. You were there. Oh how you will be missed. Rest in peace. Love you.

As a brother of four sisters I would have to say Bev (Sweetheart) was the one who always kept track of her siblings and would let you know (usually around the age of 50) with an album of your past. She will be sadly missed by all of us and especially our mother. Rest easy. D.K.

You were a great leader for the St. James Assiniboia Teachers and got us through some tough times. Thanks for everything you did for teachers and students. You were also a good mentor and friend. You will sorely be missed!

I was very fortunate to have a chance to visit with my aunt in September and even though it was a short visit I'll always have those great memories. She was funny, smart and generous and we will all miss her very much. Rest well Auntie Bev.

Bev is my big 'Sista'. She taught me how to write in cursive with coloured pencils. She took me to Hawaii for my 16th birthday. She was there for the major events in my life. She genuinely cared about my children and husband. These are the things that I will remember and not the cancer she fought hard to beat. Rest in peace.

With a shock, I hear and read about the passing of my friend Beverly Reeves, a good friend of the family. It was Bev who gave a lengthy speech at my retiring from the St.James School Division.I have known her as a persistent verbal fighter for all kinds of her ideals giving unselfishly of her time and energy.Bev: You fought your last fight...may you rest in peace.....
