Bert Andrew Chymyshyn
February 16th,1939- October 20th, 2023

Regrettably, on October 20th, 2023, our husband, father and grandfather took his last breath at the age of 84 with his family by his side. Bert is predeceased by his mother, father, brother & sister. Bert is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joyce, his children Donna (Wayne), Dianna, Jason (Lana), his grand children Joelle, Jared, Tamara, Dalton, Blake, Easton, great grandchildren Bradley & Azrielle and eight remaining siblings.

In his early years, Bert grew up on the family farm in Rossdale MB with his siblings, mom and dad. Bert was always dedicated and spent many years of his life working for Manitoba Hydro as well as owning two businesses in his later life.

Bert had a love for the outdoors. From hunting at his property in Riding Mountain National Park to tinkering around in his shed for endless hours. Bert was always a hard worker and took pride in his belongings especially his truck, tractor, quad and other toys.

Not only did Bert have a love for hunting but he had a special love for his grandchildren, he got such a kick out of them. There will never be a moment where he won’t be greatly missed by his family and friends. There will be a private service held with only Bert’s immediate family at a later time.

You have gone to a better place

You have endured more pain and suffering than most
The last few years of your life
But of all this sadness and sickness
You had all your kids and especially your wife

We love you so much and we miss you
Hoping your in a good place we pray
So goodbye for now this is not the end
We will all be together one day
