Our hearts are heavy with the news of Brenda’s passing and we send our deepest condolences to Ted and the family as well as the Burns Clan. We have many wonderful memories of our shared childhoods together. Summers spent in Winnipeg, running up and down the back lane visiting our Burns cousins. The loss of our beautiful red haired cousin is devastating. Brenda will be forever in our hearts. Always loved, always missed by, Cousin Janice Lohr (nee Burns) and Family Cousin Lori Zapfe (nee Burns) and Family Aunt Patricia Burns, Calgary, AB

Our hearts break for your family. 46 years of water has passed under the Bridge created by our friendship. We have laughed and cried and shared many great memories. It is a darn good thing Social media was not around in the early years! As we watch the photos being shared, we can hear you laughing and see you loving your family. Penny and Jeff

To Ted Sr,, Ted Jr. Brendon and Kelly, Aunt Donna, sister Julia, brothers Ralph Jr. and Caleb and all the grand kids I offer my most heartfelt condolences for your loss. Brenda is that proverbial cornerstone upon which all of you have built your lives. She had more than enough love to go around including the love she had for her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins (of which I am one), 2nd cousins, friends and neighbours. The list just goes on and on. I will most definitely miss our little impromptu evening chats over the phone keeping up with our family news. Instead of mourning her loss, I will celebrate Brenda’s graduation on to the next plain where I hope we will meet again. Brenda, you left this world a better place now than how you found it! Rest peacefully. Love you. Wayne P.

Dear Ted and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. This happened so quickly that I am sure you are all shocked and overwhelmed with sadness. I hope that, in time, your memories will be a comfort to you. Brenda was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her compassionate nature was always evident and she was generous in every way. I will remember her fondly. My condolences to all of you.
