Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 16th, 2022, with her children by her side, Brenda passed away at Deer Lodge Centre, after a long struggle with dementia.
Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sherry (Barrie) Freeman and her son, Jeff Beck, Sherry’s children, Sandy (Vanessa) and great granddaughter Alexys; daughter Tamara (Kevin) and great grandson Keidan, her brothers, Bob Irvine and John (Kim) Irvine, and her sisters, Marlene McCulloch and Laurel Irvine, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob, her parents Robert and Daisy Irvine, her sister Kay, and her brother Tommy.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Unit 3 East at Deer Lodge Centre for their kindness and compassion. A special shout out to Shelly and Tara, who spent a lot of time with Brenda and always made her smile and feel loved.
Cremation has taken place. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Brenda’s memory to the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Brenda’s life on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the Tenant Recreation Room of Southgate Plaza, 50 Alpine Ave., Winnipeg, MB, beside the Travelodge (Fermor Ave. and St. Anne’s Rd. area)
