My heartfelt condolences to Brent's family. I had the good fortune to have worked with Brent for many years at Environment Canada. He was a great teacher and friend. He was funny, genuine and always a gentleman - a real class act. Goodnight sweet prince, May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

Our condolences to his family and to Robert, who was always there for Brent.Brent was a true gentleman. He was my friend and colleague for more than 30 years and I will miss him. All who new him respected and admired him. Although his absence at our poker table will be noted his memory will remain in our hearts forever.

I first met Brent though a friend of mine. I met him like you would meet the sun, with awe. I felt his presence the first moment I met him. Like the sun he radiated warmth and light. His humor was always good. His attitude was always genuine and heartfelt. I'll miss his laugh and his easy going way.

Friends such as Brent are rare indeed and make the journey through life easier and also funnier. He was funny, loyal to his friends and a great raconteur as well as a perfect host and gentleman. His passing will leave a hole in many lives. God bless and rest ye well.

I'll never forget you Brent. I'll never forget the hospitality that you and Robert gave, while in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I will always remember your kindness when I was over at your home in Winnipeg. Life seems so short, until we meet again, you'll be in my heart for ever. Robert, my sincere thoughts are with you in this very difficult time.

Brent was a generous and loving man. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to know him and spend time with him recently. Brent's sense of humour was one of the best parts of his wonderful personality and it will be sorely missed. God bless you Brent and thank you so much for you generous spirit.
