CARL SMORANG It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden death of Carl Smorang on Friday, June 28, 2013, at the age of 76 years. Carl is survived by his loving wife Fern; son Barclay (Lisa); mother Rose; brothers Don (Delores), Ken (Gail); nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Nick. From 1963 to 1994, Carl was a school teacher; he had a passion for teaching and donated his body to science. He was a member of the Flin Flon Lodge #153. After he retired, Carl became an avid gardener, wine maker and a devoted care giver to Fern. A Celebration of Carl’s Life will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue, Winnipeg.
