Murray, so sorry for your loss. Jani told us last night at a 1954 Luther College reunion in Victoria, Joyce's old class. Many fond memories from University and the boat club. Carole could always find me a date, even Jani. Take care old friend and God bless. Joyce and Dennis Fitz

I only recently started doing Carole's hair where I got to know and enjoy this sweet classy kind lady. I will miss the great conversations. God bless

I knew the Hilton Family back around 1975/76. I was a close friend of Kevin's throughout the years.I remmber the days when myself and many of Kevin's friends would be over at the house.Mrs. Hilton, always on the go, would take the time to sit down with all of us for a chat, offering us a bite to eat and drink, while grabbing a quick bite to eat herself and out the door to work. Those were great times.Mrs. Hilton will be missed by many of us, whom she has known from childhood up to today.My condolences go out to Mr. Hilton, Kerry, and the rest of the family.

We will always remember Carole as a warm, friendly, smiling person. Not only was a she a good friend, she was a great real estate agent. She went over every house with a fine-toothed comb and sometimes rejected houses we liked due to problems she noticed that we didn't--such was her thoroughness. Always had the client's best interest in mind. We are still in the house she helped us buy 10 years ago and have loved it. We were thinking about Carole just hours before we got the sad news, as we were talking about buying a new house. We meant to call her this week, but God had other plans. We will miss Carole dearly, both as a friend and agent. Thank you Carole for all that you have done for us!

We met Carole in 1996 when my family relocated to Winnipeg. Carole's warm smile and easy-going personality helped us settle into our home after visiting about 30 different places over the course of 6 months and arranged a sub-lease agreement for us. Carole helped us find our home, but most of all she showed us how to become Winnipeggers.

Five years ago Carole was the agent that sold us our cottage out at Pointe Du Bois. The amazingly warm and friendly greeting we received on that first showing wasn’t just part of her job but was a genuine part of her nature. We know this as we experienced this smiling face and happy greeting almost every summer weekend for these last five years. The cottage that Carole sold us was right next door to hers and Murrays own cottage. Being the new kids on the block Carole went out of her way to make us feel at home and give us advice as we tried to fit into the cottage lifestyle and the local community. Carole was an invaluable friend and we will greatly miss her warm presence in our lives.

Like many of us at the Asper School, Carole was really the first person we met in Winnipeg, as she helped so many of us find our first homes here. She was a wonderful ambassador for Winnipeg: she worked tirelessly to find the right house (many of us made these purchases through weekend long marathons), but more importantly made us feel welcome. Throughout our years here she enthusiastically attended our gatherings and was always the center of lively conversations. She'll be sorely missed.

I met Carole when I started in real estate at Block Bros. on Grant and Kenaston and right from the day I walked into the office doors, she greeted me with her infectious warm smile. Carole can be summed up in one word: 'Class' as she was always professional and her gentle, warm personality was what made her so special. You will be missed Carole.... may you rest in peace.
