Caroline June Bucknell (Letourneau)

 January 26, 1942 – October 31, 2022

During the early morning hours on October 31, 2022 our wonderful Mother, Granny and great Granny passed away peacefully at the age of 80.  Caroline is predeceased by her late husband, Ronald Bucknell, who passed away in 2010.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her children James (Sharon); Mollie (Gerry) and Bill. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Sheena (Will Sr), Cole, Marshall (Sam) Travis (Amanda) and Tammy, along with many great grandchildren.

Caroline was born January 26, 1942 in Dalhousie NB to Arthur and Dorothy Letourneau and was one of eleven children.

After leaving Dalhousie, NB, Caroline made her way to Winnipeg where she set down roots until her passing.  Mom was a woman who never minced her words, said what was on her mind and was a fighter until the end. We will forever miss her but are comforted with the beautiful memories we keep close. Farewell Mom, you will always be on our mind.

To honor our Mother’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and a private farewell with her immediate family will take place in Dalhousie, NB in 2023. We invite you to please privately celebrate Caroline’s memory in your own way. We know that she will be with us all in spirit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
