i met bart through friends at a local watering hole. lots of varied topics were discussed over a few drinks. he became a good friend, though lost contact over the years. i think he was taking computer certification courses, around the time i lost touch.. his big laugh was contagious. this news of his passing is a sad shocking surprise.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same. Bart was one of those people, his wit and love of banter he could rant with the best of them and improve our vocabulary at the same time. His love of music and movies gave him an abundance of trivia that he eagerly shared……and shared……and shared. But what touched his heart and bound him to others was an immense empathy and love for all things four legged. His beloved cat Bea Shady was his joy. He found solace in lake life and it rejuvenated his spirit. We are so blessed to have an indelible footprint on our hearts that is now and forever our friend Bart. Love Roy and Bonnie
