I've known Charley for over 27 years. As to being Friends with his Son Timothy. And I can honestly say that Charley is a kind loving human being! He had a great sense of humour. He was my minister from 1985-1991. And was the one who ran the confirmation class I attended. GOD BLESS you Charley!I hope you're liking it in Heaven! Your Brother in the Lord, James Comm from Calgary, Alberta.

Rev. Charles (Charlie), you touched so many lives on your journey, and made our world a more loving, joyful and peaceful place. Others will continue to serve the Lord, honoring your lifelong service also. Peace be with you, resting in the loving hands of our Lord. Laurie

As a kid I remember Uncle Charlie's place was always a great place to visit. With Auntie Joyce and so many cousins , it was so much fun. As I get older I regret all the opportunities missed to spend time with my clan. And the time we spent digging the fall-out shelter!

The first time we lived in Calgary 1983-89, dear Charlie was our Rector. His support of the Mother's Group and of each of us individually as we grew in faith is something I will always remember. We met up with him again when we were transferred for a brief time to Winnipeg and attended St. Aidan's where he was Hon. Asst. He gave a series of Stewardship Lectures (an annual event) and asked how many had heard this for the 1st, 2nd, time--on the way out I told him he should have asked who was hearing it for the 7th time and hastened to tell him that one's hearing improved with the repetition. We were blessed to know him. Rest in peace, Charlie.Dinah Breu
