CHARLES (CHARLIE) LAURENCE PERKINS
April 28, 1939 – March 10, 2017
 
    With great sadness, we announce the passing of Charlie on Friday, March 10, 2017. He is survived and mourned by his long-time partner Arlene; step-son Ryan (Shannon) and his sister, Margaret Perkins. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary Perkins as well as his wife Dawn in 1989.   Charlie was a well-known and respected member of the Insurance Industry for over 50 years. He was an avid curler, as well as an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman. (That being said, the geese really had nothing to worry about). His greatest passion however, was being involved in the training of his retriever dogs. Charlie spent many happy hours with his beloved “labs”, his various training partners and “trialing” friends. He thoroughly enjoyed the spirited competitiveness of the Field Trail Competitions.
