Funeral Home

Clara Marlene Wagner (Stevenson)

July 28, 1945 – February 8, 2023

Marlene passed peacefully at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg on February 8, 2023. Heinz and Marlene were married 53 years. Don’t think of her as gone away, her journey has just begun.

Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one.

A limb has fallen from the family tree
I hear a voice that whispers, ‘Grieve not for me’
Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs
The good I lived while I was strong
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you
Keep on smiling, the sun will shine through.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest
Remembering all…how I was truly blessed
Continue traditions, no matter how small
Go on with your lives, don’t stare at the wall
I miss you all dearly; so, keep up your chin
until that fine day we’re together again.

She is preceded in death by her husband Heinz; their oldest son Wolfgang; her father- in-law Kurt & mother-in-law Cecilia Wagner. Marlene’s mother Victoria Stevenson passed in 1990; and several siblings Percy, Emeline, Hughie, and Jack, as well as sister-in-law, nephews, and nieces.
