CLEMENT GIRARDIN

November 26, 1940 – July 14, 2024

Peacefully, on Sunday, July 14, 2024 Clem passed away with his daughter and brother, Marcel, by his side at the Carman Hospital at the age of 83 years.

He is survived by his wife Joan (née Allen), son Raymond (Marnie), daughter Jacqueline (Edmund), grandchildren; Benjamin (Laine), Chanelle (Blake) and Rance, one great grandchild, Jacob and 10 brothers and sisters.

He was predeceased by his parents Arsene and Therese (née Cormier), an older sister, Huguette and an older brother, Gilles.

Clem was raised in La Salle and St. Claude. Over his lifetime he and Joan lived in Manitoba and B.C.

He loved working with his hands and soon after graduating high school he worked as a mechanic. Years later he became a carpenter, built homes, specialized in finishing carpentry and designed and created urns. In his spare time Clem loved to go fishing, playing cribbage with friends and enjoyed playing the fiddle in his band, Clem & Friends.

Family was very important to Clem and when his great grandchild Jacob was born, he was very proud of him.

Clem was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed.

A private interment ceremony will take place at a later date.

Dad, I love you very much, we were very close. I will miss you dearly. You were a wonderful dad and I loved spending time with you. Love you forever…
