CLEMENTINE ALBRIGHT
December 30, 1923 – July 10, 2017
It is with great sadness we announce, the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 93 years. Left to survive Clementine are her son Dana Albright (Edith); daughter Linda Trinder (John); grandchildren Tammy Matthew (James) and Shawn Trinder (Andrea Maier); and three great grandchildren Sophie, Rowan and Madeline Matthew. She was predeceased by her husband Howard (Bill) in 1978. Clementine was born in Provost, Alberta and grew up in Prelate, Saskatchewan. She joined the army and worked in signals during the war and it was there that she met her husband (Bill). They were married November 4, 1944. After the war they lived in Dauphin, MB and then moved to Winnipeg. Clementine was a stay at home mother for several years until the children were grown up. She then worked at several different jobs, telephone operator, meat cutter and finally a home care worker. Clem loved to play pool, shuffleboard, do puzzles and work in her garden. Special thanks to the staff at Donwood and HSC Emergency for their kindness, compassion and caring. In keeping with Mom’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Wojcik’s Funeral Chapels & Crematoriums, Winnipeg, 1020 Main Street, 204.586.8668 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com
