CRAIG LECO

January 8, 2013

CRAIG ARTHUR LECO It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our father, brother, grandfather and friend, Craig Leco who passed away on the morning of Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the age of 57 years. Left to cherish Craig’s memory is his son Brent Leco (Jenn); granddaughter Ella Leco; sister Wendy Mainland (Al); brother Kevin Leco (Pamela); along with an aunt and uncle; numerous cousins; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Gwen Martin and Arthur Michael Leco; and stepfather Robert Martin. Craig was born January 31, 1955, in Edmonton, Alberta, and then moved to Winnipeg at a young age. He started his career as a Paramedic for Seven Oaks Ambulance and continued with the City of Winnipeg for 38 years. He was an active member of the Camaro Club, and enjoyed spending time with Brent at various car shows. Craig’s boisterous laugh would fill any room he was in, and the love for his family was undeniable. He will be incredibly missed now and always. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. Their kindness and compassion throughout his stay in the hospital is extremely appreciated. Craig’s wish was to be buried in Emerson, which will occur in the summer of 2013 in the presence of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
