DANIEL (DANNY) SECKY
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, Danny on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the age of 38 years. Left to mourn Danny’s memory are his loving parents, Frank and Dagmar Secky of Winnipeg and numerous relatives in Czech Republic. Danny was born in Liberec, Czech Republic on February 24, 1978 and came to Canada with his parents in 1984. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with his Bachelor of Education in 2001 and enjoyed his teaching career. Danny was passionate about cycling. He also had received his 4th level black belt in Tae Kwon Do from the K.S. Cho Tae Kwon Do College. Another favourite past time was photography. On Friday, January 13, 2017, Danny’s Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue.
