We sadly announce after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by family, the passing of Darlene Carrol Henkel on Friday, June 2, 2017, at the age of 68 years. She will be greatly missed by her children, Carrie (Cory), Shelley (Kent) and Jamie, grandchildren, Jimmy, Shane (Amber), Zachary and Hayden, siblings, Lynn, Gail and Robin (Barbara), along with many family members and friends. Darlene was predeceased by her father William, mother Betty, brother Wayne and infant son James. Darlene was born and lived in Winnipeg, MB where she was employed by Sears for 25 years before retiring, then working at Ashley Furniture and currently Loblaws. A celebration of Darlenes’ life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Avenue, Winnipeg.
