DARREN JAMES DEACON Sadly on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 the world lost a bright smile. Darren James Deacon originally from Winnipeg but lived in Iqaluit passed away at the age of 51 years. He passed due to heart failure which is even more tragic as that was his biggest part. Darren is survived by his partner Billie Jean; mother Neilda; brothers Geoff and Glen; daughter Tomika and her mother Leanne; two nephews Christopher and Cameron and their mother Bonnie; as well as by his two dogs Anuk Annanoo and Little Bear. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Avenue at Rouge Road with Rev. Fr. Gerald Langevin, presiding. A private Family Interment will be held in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darren’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
