DARRYL LLOYD MACKAY

Darryl Mackay, a man who loved sports and family, passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 51. Born in Winnipeg and raised in St. James, Darryl’s early years were filled with the joy of hockey, soccer, and karate, as well as the simple pleasures of watching wrestling and riding minibikes with his younger sister, Deanna. The countless hours he spent at the Heritage Victoria Community Club with his devoted mother, Donna, and Deanna are cherished memories that will forever warm our hearts.

As an adult, Darryl’s loyalty to the Winnipeg Jets, hockey, and wrestling was unwavering. His strength and passion for the things he loved will be remembered by those who knew him.

We are deeply grateful to Dalvinder Obhi for her uncompromising support and guidance to Darryl. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we appreciate you more than words can express.

Darryl was predeceased by his dedicated and loving mother, Donna. He leaves behind his sister, Deanna, and her partner, Orest, as well as a community of friends who will deeply feel the loss of his presence.
