I lived with David in the nurses' residence at SMHC during his Psychiatric Nursing training. My thoughts are with the family and sorry for the loss.

Thoughts and prayers to the family! Hold the memories close to your heart! Praying you will again feel the fun and joy you shared with wonderful memories of shared time.

Although I only met David a few times, I admired his strength. He was a very quiet, kind and gentle person. I know he will be missed, and it grieves my heart that he had to leave so soon. May you all keep his memory alive in your hearts and minds, and be there for each other.

I grew up with David and Rick. Many happy summers spent camping at Blue Lake with 'Auntie' Maxine and 'Uncle' Con . They were old friends of my parents. Happy times.Unfortunately I'm unable to attend the service on Wednesday but my thoughts are with you.

There are so many stories... too many to recount lol I will always remember when Dave moved back to St James, right behind me so Dana and I could continue playing Crib and Spite & Malice even on his weekends LOL. We spent so many nights there having drinks and chatting. He allowed us to be ourselves and gave us wonderful advice. His love for his children was the 1 thing that kept him striving to be a good man. You will be remembered and always loved. L-O-V-E The Castles
