It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dave – son, brother and proud uncle. After a lifetime struggle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and a brief illness, Dave is now free to go wherever he pleases, unencumbered by the body that so often kept him from doing so in life.
Despite the challenges he faced, Dave lived his life with courage and dignity. Many thanks to all those who enabled him to do so. Trips to Nova Scotia and the Folk Festival, the Bombers and classic cars were all close to Dave’s heart and spirit. But the true love of his life was music – especially The Blues.
In keeping with Dave’s wishes, no formal service will take place, although anybody is welcome to participate when his ashes are scattered.
