Obituaries

    Dennis Christopoulos    Peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2018, our brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend Dennis Christopoulos went to join our eternal Father.   Dennis leaves to mourn his loving wife of 53 years Lena Woodhouse; children Lorette (Garnet), Alex, Lorna, Leona (Henry), and Diane (Kevin); grandchildren Richard, Jordan, Trevor, Craig, Cindy, Natalie, Tasha (Taylor), Alexander, Michael, Matthew, Luke, Breanna, Michelle, Levi, Sam and Louie; as well as 30 great grandchildren.   An exuberant, handsome, and expressive Greek man, Dennis had a passion for life.  He loved to work for the love of his life, Lena. His greatest joy was making her happy and taking her dancing and traveling. At times however, Dennis appreciated spontaneous adventures and would travel to Greece to visit his family, and to attend the Olympics in several countries. He also loved to share with his grandchildren his transition to Canada from Greece. He told many grand stories to all of us from the many exciting experiences he had. Dennis attended St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church faithfully.   Dennis’ Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue with Rev. Fr. Konstantinos Tsiolas.
