DIANE DAOUST ABREY With great sadness we announce the passing of Diane Daoust Abrey. She left us peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at the young age of 57 years. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Celina; brothers Serge and Daniel; sister Ginette; nieces Louise (husband Jeremy and daughter Janelle), Megan and Jessica; and nephews André and Allan. She was predeceased by her mother Suzanne (née) Jobin and father André Daoust. For 31 years Diane worked for Manitoba Student Aid and took great joy in helping students achieve their dreams of a post-secondary education. She was also incredibly proud of her daughter’s accomplishments in University. Diane was rarely very serious and had a silly sense of humour. Her creativity and antics brought those in her life lots of joy and laughter. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, animals and nature. A courageous and devoted mother, Diane treasured her immediate family as well as her extended family. She will be terribly missed by both. A small family gathering will be held in Diane’s honour.
