Deepest sympathy to Helen & family. Bob’s memory is pretty much lost, but he was very saddened when I told him of the passing of one of his oldest friends. Even though he can’t, I do remember all the stories of the two of them working side by side over all those many years, and the fun times at the curling club. We also enjoyed Don’s drop in visits after the move to Winnipeg.

My condolences go out to The Hills family over the loss of Donald. I remember Donald as a hard working, community oriented citizen of Pine Falls. Donald worked with my father, Bill in the Mechanical department of the paper mill for many years. I know Donald was a trusted friend of his, and was spoken highly of, by all that knew him. He will be missed my many. Heartfelt sympathy to the family and all of their close friends. Sincerely, Kim Sharpe. Qualicum Beach

My sincerest condolences to all of Don’s family. I have fond memories of the kind man next door during my teenage years. Of course, I knew Don as one of my father’s comrades in the militia and the Legion. He was well liked and respected in both those groups. I know from my years working in the papermill that he was considered a good man and a friendly guy. May he Rest In Peace.
