It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna McLeod (nee Bannatyne) in Winnipeg at the age of 83 years. Donna was surrounded by her family and went very peacefully at the Grace Hospital on the evening of Friday the 27th of April 2018. Donna leaves behind her children Judy (Ron) Sauriol, Janice Christensen and Neil McLeod and grandchildren Brittney and Bradley Christensen, Samantha, Sydney and Savannah Sauriol.
Donna was a very positive and energetic person. She had an appetite for laughter and Chinese food. She had many friends and loved the beautiful English Gardens. Donna enjoyed her trips to Ontario to sit on Judy’s front porch, she liked having her nails beautifully painted with Janice and never missed a Winnipeg Jets game with Neil.
Donna was not just a grandma but a best friend and knew how to fix anything with a good Shepherd’s pie, laundry folding session and a Bailey’s night cap.
After 10 years apart, Donna will happily be reunited with her husband Brian, may they together rest in peace. There will be a celebration of Donna’s life to follow this fall.
