DONNA IRENE MUIR March 2, 1938- October 11, 2014 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Irene Muir at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn Donna’s passing are her loving husband of 56 years, David; daughter Debbie (Chester) Wionzek; son Darryl (Shawnda); and grandsons, Christopher, Scott, Justin and Devin; sister Shirley Riddell, brother Dennis (Grace) Patterson; nieces and nephews, Shauna, Todd, Wayne and Suzanne; and her constant canine companion, Pee Wee. He was predeceased by her parents, Ken and Thelma Patterson; infant brother Wayne; and brother-in- law, Malcolm Riddell. Donna had her health struggles over the years, but the last three years were the most difficult. Cancer had gotten hold of her and wouldn’t let go. She fought a brave fight. Her positive attitude and good humour stayed with her to the end. Donna always gave everyone the thumbs up that everything was fine and to keep everyone around her smiling and in good spirits. In compliance with Donna’s wishes, no service will be held. The family would like to thank all the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, especially Cindy, for all their help over the past three years. Special thanks to Judy and Sean from Palliative Care who took the time to provide special care for Donna.
