It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Doris MacFarlane at The Tuxedo Vila personal Care home in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 99 years.
Doris is survived by her five sons, Jim (Carolynn Charles, John (Susan) Charles from Winnipeg, Terry (Christena) Charles, Tim Charles, Dan (Patty) Charles from British Columbia and their families; stepchildren Bill, Ross, Joel, Cheryl and their families.
Doris was predeceased by husband Bob MacFarlane and stepchildren Robert and Janet; husbands Bob Charles and Bruce Gair of Winnipeg; sister Claire from Vancouver, and brother Wayne Ragotte from Ontario.
She was the life of the party, always enjoying a good laugh with friends. Doris especially loved the years her and Bob spent as snowbirds in St. Pete, Florida. She will be sadly missed.
A special thanks to all the staff at Tuxedo Villa and especially those from Station 3.
A private family celebration of Doris’s life will be held at a later date.
