Doris will be immensely missed by her husband Les; son Dave and wife Darcy with grandsons James and Jon; daughter Lisa and husband Keith; daughter Debi and partner Bill. Dodo lived life to its fullest for 80 years, enjoying many years of travelling to Texas with Les for the winters. She loved music, her computer and her camera. Dodo was a ray of sunshine and will be remembered by the many lives she touched as being a gentle soul with a mischievous sense of humour. Her greatest joy came from her family and we feel blessed to have felt the love she shared with us. In keeping with Dodo’s wishes, no formal service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Ward at St. Boniface General Hospital for their kind and gentle care of our Dodo during her last days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Research Foundation, Palliative Care. What we have enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us Rest peacefully Dodo.Publish Date: Mar 26, 2014 As published in the Winnipeg Free Press on March 29, 2014
