DORIS “JEAN” SIRED
A smiling face left us February 23rd. Love and laughter describe our beautiful mother Jean Sired, who passed away peacefully in her 93rd year. She is survived by her husband George.On Friday, February 26, 2016, George & Jean would have celebrated their 73 wedding anniversary. Their love for one another is an inspiration to all of us. Together they lovingly raised five children (David, John, Ken (Sired) Anne Thomson and Carol Nellis along with seven beautiful grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Mom had an infectious giggle and loved nothing more than to laugh. She was happiest playing cards with family as well as an avid gardener and bridge player. She was active in all things fun, such as darts, bowling, and golf. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife who gave love unconditionally and taught us all the meaning of joy. Doris Jean Currie was born in Delise Saskatchewan July 22,1923 her father was Alexander Currie and mother Jane Bentley.The family wishes to thank the staff of Riverview for their loving care and support over the years.
