Spending months and summers at the beach with me emptying the fridge and losing all my coppers at Rummoli, Gramma always had patience for my behavior.'All ass and pockets' Gramma said of my silly skintight jeans in 1986, and that the 'storms' were somewhere down the beach- don't forget the binoculars.Gramma always saw the best in me, for that I am grateful.

I remember staying with Auntie Dot at Twin Beaches. She always looked so polished, with her hair, makeup and fingernails done. But I must admit she didn't make the best peanut butter sandwich...but she did make a good cup of tea! Also Christmas slippers from Woolworths were always under the tree and kept our toes warm for the winter - and a different colour for each of us Cowley girls.

My condolences to Dorothy's families. My late husband Howard and I bowled with Dorothy. What a gracious and glorious lady she was. And that smile was always on her face. Heaven has received another Angel.
