Muriel died peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at the age of 92 years at Golden West Centennial Lodge, where she had resided for over five years.
Left to forever remember Muriel are her sister ? in ? law, Mick Fenn of Manitou, Manitoba; nephew Robert of Brandon, Manitoba; nieces, Anne of Winnipeg, Linda of Calgary, Alberta, Cathy of Cardale, Manitoba, and their families. She was predeceased by her brother, William and his wife Patricia of Brandon, as well as her brother George of Manitou.
Muriel was a life-long resident of St. James, growing up on Parkview Street, and remaining in the family home following the passing of her parents. She was an executive secretary at a law firm for many years. Muriel was also a member of St. James Anglican Church. She was proud of her English heritage and enjoyed traveling to visit relatives earlier in her life.
The family is very thankful for the wonderful care given to Muriel by the staff of Golden West Centennial Lodge.
Muriel?s Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in St. James Cemetery, 525 Tylehurst Street @ Portage Avenue (across from Polo Park).
