It is with great sadness that the family of Eddie announces his passing on December 30, 2022 in Winnipeg at the age of 93. Eddie is survived by his wife Gladys (Burns), his children and their spouses. Son Murray (June) Daughter Gail (Alan) Son Lyle (Donna). He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren: Bobby (Alisa), Russell (Dawn), Wesley (Jennifer), Carol (Chris), Neil (Sylvia). He was able to meet his 9 great-grandchildren: Ridge, Holt, Edan, Dylan, Dawson, Walker, Sage, Rhys and Madeline.
Eddie owned Evanson Sheet Metal and worked as a HVAC contractor. He enjoyed years of downhill skiing with Gladys stopping at 80 years old. He also entertained people playing his accordion.
We would like to thank all the 5th floor staff at Poseidon Care Center for their kindness and their great care given to Eddie.
A private family internment will be planned.
