both betty and gille were great people. had a party at our home before they went overseas; they left us all their booze. it was all gone when they got back. which made them happy.

Betty, we were lucky to have had you as a friend and we will always treasure that. You are one of the most gentle, forthright and kind people we have known. While we are sad at your passing; we are happy that you are free of pain and with your beloved Gilles. We see each other again one day.

To Gilles, Gary and the girls:Betty has gone on her final trip and I hope that she is enjoying a very good scotch!I worked with Betty in Germany; a good time was often on the agenda. We met again in Ottawa, while they were transferred in and out, on many occasions. Gilles and Betty stayed at our house for some months on one of their moves from Winnipeg.We enjoyed their company and sense of humor. Repose-toi maintenant Betty et veille sur les tiens de là-haut.
